RECOMENDACIONES y TAREAS 

para no olvidar el inglés en NAVIDAD

Tras un largo trimestre de trabajo intenso, mi principal deseo para vosotros y vuestras familias en estas fiestas es que disfrutéis y descanséis, sin dejar de cuidaros. 

Como creo que hay tiempo para todo, también puede haber momentos para dedicarle al inglés y mejorar nuestra comprensión oral y escrita. Para ello, sabéis que siempre os recomiendo ver algunas de vuestras películas y series favoritas en inglés con subtítulos en inglés. Os dejo aquí un enlace a las recomendaciones de películas que ya os hice el verano pasado.

 balance del primer trimestre

Dedicamos los últimos minutos del último día de este primer trimestre tan particular a hacer balance de los mejores momentos vividos en el mismo y aportar sugerencias para poder mejorar en lo que queda de curso.

Cada alumno de 6ºA disponía de un folio en el que poder plasmar, en una de las caras lo mejor del trimestre y en otro sugerencias de mejora. En esta segunda cara dejamos también un pequeño hueco para que, quien lo necesitara, escribiera en pequeñito las cosas que mejor convenía olvidar.

SUGERENCIAS DE MEJORA

Las respuestas han sido muy variadas, pero entre los mejores momentos destacan:

• La charla/experimento científico en  el que Teresa (enfermera) nos demostró la eficacia de un buen lavado de manos para combatir cualquier tipo de gérmenes (Semana de la Ciencia).
• La videoconferencia sobre COVID-19 propuesta por el Programa Si!
• Las actividades organizadas por Maribel en la semana de la discapacidad.
• La presentación sobre la vida y la obra de Manuel Aragón Cáceres "Manuelo"
• El poder asistir a clases presenciales y ver a los compañeros, así como conocer a un compañero nuevo.

Entre las propuestas de mejora, aparte del inevitable "menos deberes" y "menos exámenes" destacamos la necesidad de que se arregle la pizarra digital, pues no se ve muy bien. Lo incorporamos a nuestra lista de peticiones para el nuevo año.

Presentación Vida y Obra de Manuel Aragón Cáceres, Manuelo (Semana de la  Discapacidad)

Manuelo era un artista con parálisis cerebral a quien tuve el enorme privilegio de conocer hace ya bastantes años y con quien compartí momentos muy especiales en el centro para personas con discapacidad en el que trabajé durante mis primeros años, el centro DATO POLIBEA.

Como en este curso no podían acudir personas externas a organizar actividades con motivo de la semana de la discapacidad, decidí compartir con mis alumnos de 6ºA y 6ºB algunas pinceladas de la vida y la obra de este entrañable amigo.

Martes 22 de Diciembre de 2020

Hoy es el último día del trimestre y tenemos un horario especial. Las clases acaban a las 13:00 horas, como sabéis.

Aunque en sexto no nos hemos unido a la iniciativa de traer algo navideño cada uno de estos últimos cuatro días, hoy si podéis traer adornos en la cabeza, jerséis navideños, adornos, etc.

Durante las sesiones de antes del recreo Gracia estará con 6ºA y yo estaré con 6ºB.

En 6º B veremos la película WONDER en inglés con subtítulos en inglés. 6ºA ya la vio durante los recreos Sé que muchos la habéis visto ya en español. Es una película preciosa, fácil de entender y cargada de valores importantes. 

Después del recreo, a las 12:00 tomaremos "las uvas" en clase. Cada uno debe traer 12 uvas o 12 porciones pequeñas de fruta o pequeñas golosinas (aunque esta opción no es la más recomendable) para tomar al ritmo de las campanadas. este año las oiremos desde clase.

Si alguno olvidamos traer las doce "uvas" no pasa nada. Podemos fingir que las tomamos a través de mímica. En ningún caso se contempla la posibilidad de compartir alimento alguno.

Dedicaremos la última hora a recoger nuestras cosas y a hacer balance de los mejores momentos que hemos vivido en el trimestre. Lo que más nos ha gustado, lo que nos gustaría mejorar a partir de enero.

RECOMENDACIONES y TAREAS PARA NAVIDAD

Hemos trabajado mucho este trimestre y hemos conseguido adaptarnos a unas nuevas formas de funcionar que nos parecían impensables el curso pasado por estas fechas.

Lega ahora un tiempo para descansar y cargar nuestras baterías para los trimestres restantes.

Aunque mi principal deseo para vosotros y vuestras familias para estas fiestas es que disfrutéis y descanséis, sin dejar de cuidaros, creo que también puede haber momentos para dedicarle al inglés y mejorar nuestra comprensión oral y escrita. Para ello os recomiendo ver algunas de vuestras películas y series favoritas en inglés con subtítulos en inglés.

Además os pido que leaís el libro que os lleváis de la biblioteca de aula y realicéis una breve reseña del mismo.

Para Sociales, conviene que traigáis ya lista en el cuaderno la portada de la Unidad 3. Modern Spain: the 19th century. con sus objetivos.

Los alumnos de Valores de 6ºA, además llevan una hoja que me gustaría teminaran y poder comentarla a la vuelta de vacaciones.

Last Friday we could not do it, so today ee are going to work with some materials in Spanish provided by Programa SI about HOW OUR CIRCULATORY SYSTEM WORKS.

Hoy es el último día del trimestre de VALORES. Dedicaremos los primeros minutos a revisar los cuadernos y ver los principales contenidos que hemos trabajado.

Cada uno decidirá una o dos de las actividades, lecturas o momentos de clase que recuerde que más le han gustado, los apunta en un papel y los metemos todos en una caja.

Después, sacaremos algunos de esos papeles y los comentaremos.

EL resto del tiempo, propongo una serie de frases inacabadas para que cada uno las termine como mejor le parezca:

Hoy avanzamos ya en la unidad hacia el apartado correspondiente a futuro. Se titula La personalidad elegida..

Comenzamos leyendo la historia titulada La casa soñada y respondemos oralmente a las preguntas 1, 2 y 3.

Continuamos leyendo las páginas 32 y 33. LAs comentamos y copiamos en el cuaderno el recuadro rosa:

Vamos formando nuestra personalidad a lo largo de la vida: nacemos con un temperamento, adquirimos un carácter y, a partir de él, construimos nuestro proyecto personal.

Para terminar, pensamos individualmente en el cuaderno cada uno el ejercicio 4. Luego lo ponemos en común y vemos cuáles son los rasgos más deseables y explicamos por qué.

I will also collect the Grammar photocopies of those who you did not give them tome on Friday. They are very important for your grade too(Vocabulary/Grammar).

Today we are going to do Lesson 10 in our Class Book (page 41) and Activity Book (page 39).

Today, we are going to set the basis for the writing task you need to do in the long weekend. Remember it is going to be an important part of your test in Unit 3.

Following the model om AB page 38 about video chat and text chat, we are going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Home learning and School Learning.

First, we brainstorm some ideas for our introduction:

Lockdown experience last year (March- June 2020)

Here you can see the presentation of the survey we did in June, for some ideas.

Think about how you feel being able to come to school everyday.

When we are sick  (or in quarantine) for a long time and we can attend school lessons.

We think of a question for the end of the introduction.

We are using this paper on one side for organizing our ideas, and the other side, vertically, to write the essay.

GUIDELINE AND IDEAS for an OPINION ESSAY Home learning vs School learning

We fill in  a table like the one on page 38.

When you have organized your ideas we write your opinion essay on a draft paper. Read it and check for possible mistakes.

Then copy it neatly on the unfolded paper you received in class.

Bring the folded paper with the guideline and the text on Monday to be checked using this rubric.
