Why do we buy things?

We copy the BIG QUESTION on the poster, we handout post-it notes to think of our own answers to the question and we stick them to the poster.

Here you can see some ideas and basic vocabulary related to shopping.

We open our books on pages 62 and 63. We have a look at he pictures and read the texts.

We´ll see the last part of the chapter about The Nervous System. 6º B did it yesterday.

Read pages 6 and 7 again individually and try to remember the main points. Then, we close the books and take a QUIZ. Numbers 1 to 5, write the answers to the questions..

HOMEWORK (for Thursday)

We use the rest of the time to create a nice cover page for the next unit including these objectives.. 

We also take the oral SPEAKING Tests for Unit 4.

NATURAL SCIENCE

Today we start a new lesson of Natural Science, about one of the three vital functions. 

Unit 1. Interaction

First we check your cover pages and objectives. We hand out copies of the Bilingual Dictionary you can stick to the back of the cover page.

We brainstorm ideas about the three vital functions: Nutrition, Interaction and Reproduction, and we write down the main concepts related to the interaction function in humans. There are two interactive worksheets this afternoon as homework, to help you remember what you already know about this function.

Next, we open the book on pages 4, 5 .

We have a look at the pictures and we read the captions.

We do  Activity 1 on page 5. Copy the questions in your notebook. Listen and Answer.
